Now that you have completed your flight, let’s look at the steps you need to take to get us your image data for us to process your measurements.
1. Click the “Aerials” tab in the top right corner of the Stockpile Reports web portal.
2. On the aerials page, scroll down to the “Self-Service Aerials” section and click the “Upload Images” button.
3. On the UAV Image Uploader page:
Site: Select the correct site for the location that you flew.
Generate StockPile Measurements and site image: select this if you want pile measurements. If you only want a site image, then you can choose “Only generate a site image”.
Optional Notes: if you’d like to add any relevant notes about this flight, location, operational information, etc. this is the place to do it.
Flight Specifications: at this point, if you aren’t sure what our flight requirements are, you can click the “Flight Specifications” link to review. You can also visit this page for more information about flight requirements. Otherwise, check the box to confirm you are familiar with our requirements and your flight meets those requirements.
Drag or Click to select image for upload: use this box to upload your flight images.
Note: be sure you copy your images from your drone’s SD Card over to the computer you’re uploading from. This will ensure that there are no cache/buffering issues that will cause your upload to stall and need to be started over.
Google Map View: this view will populate with dots representing the GPS coordinates of each of the image files you’ve uploaded. This is a very good way to ensure that you’re uploading both the correct image set as well as the entirety of your flight.
4. After you’ve confirmed that all your images are correct, click the “Submit” button.
Note: it’s important that your computer does not turn off or go to sleep while you are uploading before all the images have been uploaded.
Click to view this page and learn more about what happens next after you’ve uploaded your flight images.
